Sadly, we are home. My first post about the “paradise vaca” will start from the ending of the trip.
When coming home we had to take a 6 seater plane. Meaning I was holding the baby and my mother was had to sit in the co-pilot seat (is that what it’s called?) for us all to fit. Anyways, upon spotting the plane my panic went into overdrive. Enter sweet Zanex…thank you Dr…I might have never arrived home otherwise. So, high as a kite I took my seat. PS- How do people take this medication daily???!!! Maybe it’s because I don’t drink or take any meds but my body tripped out! Haha they could have tied me to the wing and I’d have been okay…for a few minutes anyways!
They smashed us into this itty bitty ‘plane’, basically the size of the model airplanes my dad and bro built growing up. We took off out of St. Barts airport, which you have to have a special license to land and take off from. It is rated the most dangerous airport in the world. YEAH!!!
They stick me in the back next to Ash hoping that if I freak out she can keep me from opening a door and jumping out. No joke folks I get THAT bad when flying.
The flight was only 15 minutes…no big deal self…you can do this…breath…wait..what is this my eyes see? Am I really that high, or did the pilot just give my mom the wheel and look down to start writing on his clip board? No this is reality!!! As if this couldn’t have gotten scarier!!?? If I could have formed a sentence I would have yelled at the pilot and my mother! Will you say I’m dramatic? Yes. Do I care? No. Just tellin the truth here people:)
This was the view from my seat in the BACK row mind you!
Apparently the kids did not receive the memo that this is not really a plane and that we are in danger!!
There’s my mom….no care in the world…. about to take the entire families lives into her hands with not even a blink of an eye. Yes, my mom used to be a pilot but she hasn’t flown in a long time. This had to be illegal….someone call the air police.
