#68

I have been happily computer free for a few weeks:)

My sister and I jetted off to NYC for one of my dearest friends wedding.  By ‘jetted off’ I mean, I actually flew in an airplane yo!!!  After many years, my scared butt, white knuckled it and clung to Ashley…But I did it!!!!!

It was an amazing trip and a great sister vacation:)  Being me, I didn’t pack until the day of the flight and couldn’t find a dress.  Figured I’d get one there!  Ash and I went shopping a few hours before heading to the wedding and thankfully found a fun dress:)

Ash taking a pic of me in the dressing room.  Haha

We ran back to the hotel to get ready and flew out the door just in time to meet the bus downstairs.

We all took a bus to a beautiful golf club outside the city.

A truly fun night!

Sweet Jen
The ceremony was intense for me.  I haven’t seen a dad walk their daughter down the aisle since having kids.  It made me think of my daughters getting married and Jonny having to ‘give them away’!  I saw Jen’s mama, Susie(whom I love dearly) was doing her best not to ball.  I couldn’t imagine what she was going through.  Her only child getting married.  It must be a happy, sad, proud, reflective, overabundance of emotions, moment!!  So right off the bat I was a mess:)  Then came the ceremony.  The cantor had such a gorgeous voice I had chills.  There is something very special about a Jewish ceremony.
In all my years I have never been to a wedding soooo crazy!  There was not one person NOT dancing!!!!  From the moment we entered the reception these folks were on the floor.  We had soooo much fun!  Ashley and I danced like idiots for hours on end!  I probably lost ten pounds from laughing all night!  The band literally had to stop playing to get this crowd to sit for dinner!  Such a blast!
The bus on the way home was a party bus with a pole!  Had to get a picture with the maid of honor before exiting, to act like we had pole danced the whole way home!!  Hahaa!!

Such a beautiful, sweet, emotional, special, exciting wedding.  Love you Jen and am so happy for you and Brad!
