We went to Solvang to celebrate my sister Ashley’s birthday.  It was basically a day spent eating from one end of the town to the other.  Typical day for the Johnson (previously Johnson) girls.  Ebelskivers galore filled our bellies!  Solvang, for those of you who don’t know, is a little Danish town north of Santa Barbara in Santa Ynes.  My family has traveled there since I was a baby.  And although it is Danish we claim it as our own and always tell the kids (as my parents did with us) that we are Swede/Norwegians and this is our heritage.  Growing up I thought being a swede/norwegian pretty much meant Vikings and pigging out.  Which basically explains me in a nutshell…a badass who can throw down when it comes to life and food…hahaha.

We brought the crazy Quadmobile/surrey cart/train.  Glad I had a helper to push!  My 2 year old niece, Brooklyn!
