I can’t believe my twins will be 4 this weekend!!! We had a party for them on Saturday and it was a blast! Raimy had the idea we should drive his class on the tourbus to the snow!! Hahaha. I thought about it for a while and googled “fake snow at my house”. I found a company who blows shaved ice (basically) into your yard! Our driveway is a big hill, so I had them cover the driveway and make a snow hill. Oh My WORD!!! We had so much fun!!!! It didn’t matter if they were 2 or 62 pretty much everyone went sledding!
Mom, Ash, Auntie Am, Auntie Ang and I spent the whole day cooking…Turkey, mashed potatoes, ham, green bean casserole, stuffing, Monica’s famous jellys. Figured we are great at whipping up Thanksgiving dinner….might as well quadruple our recipes:)
So massive amounts of food, massive amount of snow, bundled kids, fires in the fireplaces and hot chocolate equal a great party!
A family friend Emma dressed as Cinderella to surprise the kids and Saylor was her shadow the entire night! She is still talking about her every other second!
My family and friends are insane. They went over and above to keep the party running smoothly. I couldn’t have hired a catering company and party planning team more attentive with the serving and all things party! They helped clean, entertain, keep everything under control, rolling trash cans, moving furniture…etc. I love you guys and am grateful beyond belief!!!!!!

I will post pics next. I was so caught up in the fun I didn’t take any pictures once the party started!!!! MORON. But I did get ONE of the snow being blown in!
Oh my gosh, what lucky kids! Can't wait to see more :).
you're such a great momma!!
Moms will do so much to make their kids happy! I'm sure for your kids it was a blast. I'll tell you we are seeing the first flakes of the season and we are not exactly thrilled about it. Snow when you live in a big city, and you have to park your car on the street, is not fun. But I do recall my kids having a lot of fun toboganning in the winter, and skating on the outdoor rinks. They still enjoy that when they have the time. My son is still a total hockey enthousiast and can't wait to come back to Montreal during his school break so he can play pick-up hockey outdoors, not just in arenas. You still seem really resourceful to me to be able to think of such a thing. Congratulations on what appears to have been a very succesful event.
